Meet Amy
Meet Amy
Amy Jivani grew up in Dallas, Texas, where she loved making up stories and dreaming big.
She’s the author of children’s books, including Kanji for Your Heart and Meera’s Flowers. Amy loves to
write stories so that kids from all kinds of backgrounds can see themselves and know their voices
matter. A former teacher with a master’s degree in curriculum, Amy is now a scriptwriter for Discovery
Education. When she’s not writing scripts or coming up with new ideas for books, she’s hiking twisty
trails, spotting silly shapes in the clouds, and happily chowing down on some sushi.
Meet Anne
Meet Anne

University in St. Louis, she has written several short plays that have been performed around the United States.
Anne lives in Austin, Texas and loves books, cheese, puzzles, and cats (but not necessarily in that order!).
